Project Financing Instructions

1. Start by using the "Quick Funding Estimator" to budget the estimated monthly cost of the project. 

2. Submit the "Online Term Sheet Request" to receive a "Term Sheet" and a more accurate budget of the monthly finance cost of the project. Present the "Term Sheet" to the customer. Note: Click here for a printed version of the Term Sheet Request Application.

3. If acceptable, return a copy of the signed Term Sheet including the required documents to begin finance approval and funding.

1.  Submit funding requests by clicking “Online Term Sheet Request Application" or upload the printable PDF version. Review the "Required Documents and Information Page" for the complete information required.

2.  Upon receipt of the application, EE Resource will provide a one-page Term Sheet for the customer to review and sign. Standard turnaround is 48 hours upon receipt of application and required documents.

3.  If accepted, the Customer signs the non-binding Term Sheet. The Partner submits the executed Term Sheet to EE Resource along with the following documents. Documents can be uploaded through the website or emailed to projects@EEResource.net. Partner to gather and submit the following documents:
- Executed Term Sheet
- Full copy of customers one month’s most recent electric and natural gas bill
- Contract proposal, invoice, scopes of work, and equipment submittals/brochures

4.  Upon credit approval by CNE, Energy Efficiency Resource will provide the Partner or Customer with the CNE Power and Funding agreements for review and signature.

5.  Upon EE Resource receipt of Customers' signed agreements, the Partner will be notified that funding is available with a notification to proceed.

6.  Funding is normally divided into 2 equal payments.  The first payment is upon the customer's acceptance and approval of material/equipment delivery. The second and final payment is upon the customer's acceptance and approval of project completion.

7.  Once the Completion Certificate is received by EE Resouce, the Partner/Customer will receive payment-in-full within 14 business days.
